Wild and Free

Earlier this year, when I was feeling the need to shoot something a little outside of my usual style, Nadja and I put together this little shoot. It rained the whole time, so we ditched our original idea of going to a foresty location and instead we visited the Botanical Gardens in Copenhagen. I'm glad we did. There were still some flowers in bloom and we stumbled across this magnificent big bush covered in tiny blue flowers. The rain started picking up as we where shooting there and I was trying to balance atop my stepladder while holding the camera and an umbrella. Nadja was sheltered a bit by the overhanging branches of the bush itself.

It was all worth it in the end, I'm just so in love with the three portraits, especially, that came out of this shoot.
